Moses Maimonides was born in Cordoba Spain, in 1135. At the age of 13, he and his family were forced to move expose of Spain due to Muslims invading the area. Then in 1165, at the age of xxx he left Fez due to fear of persecutions occurring, and because settled in Fostat in Egypt. In 1177, Maimonides was appreciate as head of the Jewish residential district of Fostat. In 1185 He became the private physician to the sultan. The sultan is the Egyptian ruler.
